Apartment for rent in Borgo Vittorio: the rooms

From the gallery, the front door opens into a dining room with an open-plan kitchen. The kitchen has an induction hob, oven, dishwasher and fridge. In addition, the room has a storage cupboard and a half-height partition that doubles as a counter; the table seats four.

The living room is the heart of the flat. Concealed lighting around the perimeter sets off its ceiling of shallow exposed-brick vaults between beams. Of its two windows, one opens onto the gallery, while the other faces the courtyard, towards St Peter’s dome. A writing desk suits anyone who studies or works from home; the room also has a sofa, an armchair and a large television.

A hallway with a clothes rail then leads to the sleeping area. The bathroom has a window and a glass-enclosed shower with a rainfall head; it also has a heated towel rail and a mirror set flush into the tiling. Finally, the bedroom, with a double bed, overlooks an inner courtyard.

Heating is independent, while the living room has air conditioning and the windows have mosquito screens. Parquet floors and ceilings 3.10 metres high complete the interiors. The flat also has a small laundry room off the gallery. The lift, however, does not start at ground level, so the first flights of stairs are on foot.

Lease and conditions

The apartment is available for rent, furnished, on an 18-month transitional lease (contratto di locazione transitoria). By law, the contract must state and document the temporary need, whether the tenant’s or the landlord’s.
